Where pedigree and quality combine...

We run a small, friendly kennel situated only 10 minutes from the M5 Motorway and Dave currently offers 1 to 1 Training and group sessions for both Spaniels and Retrievers at a nearby field that we rent especially kitted out with rabbit pens and other training aids. Dave regularly competes in Field Trials with considerable success, and has over the years won many awards. We, currently have 2 FTW Bitches, and a FTCH Bitch in our kennels which we are breeding from. We also have a number of younger dogs and bitches in the kennels which are showing great potential for the future. As well as competing in Field Trials, Dave is a Kennel Club 'A' Panel Spaniel Judge, and is regularly invited to judge and shoot at trials.

Since getting Jessie, Lex has bred a few litters from her and has trialled one of the bitches from her first litter, Poppy. She has had good success with Poppy, having won the Wiltshire Novice Working Test, and been 'in the awards' in all but one of the Novice Field Trials she has competed in, Lex hopes to continue to do well in Labrador trials, and has a few promising youngsters coming along.

Buddy has been DNA tested for Fucosidosis & Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA (cord 1))

DNA testing for Fucosidosis (FUCO).

The test distinguishes between clear, carrier and affected dogs. Clear dogs have no copies of the mutant gene responsible for fucosidosis and will neither develop the condition nor pass a fucosidosis gene on to their offspring.

Buddys test results are CLEAR for both Fucosidosis and cord1 PRA

So not only is he one of the most consistent male dogs in Working Tests and Field Trials at the moment he is also Clear of these genes.

Buddy is available at Stud and is still producing good sized litters.
